Food Bank

We support the local Food Bank which helps to provide essential food items for those most in need. Breakfast cereals, tins of meat, vegetables, tins of fruit, tinned ready meals, (No Perishables or frozen Goods) Convenience foods, noodles, pot noodles ect, Toiletries.

Barnabas Aid Food Gives

We have just dispatched our first shipment of dried food to where it is most needed. Food items they require are, dried pulses, rice, sugar, salt, dried beans, it is important that products have a minimum ten months shelf life, and no larger than 2kg packages. No liquids animal products or oils due to strict customs controls. A full list can be found on the food gives website, or the Church notice board.

Our first shipment to needy people was sent out in June 2024, and boxes sent now total 26, approx 225kg. Barnabas Aid have sent their thanks to LBC for the support and recently sent a 40 foot container to Ukraine for needy christians, and a 20 foot container to Lebanon.

Pray for Leek Moorlands Hospital

This very valuable service in Leek has faced closure over the years, and many local people benefit from this local service, which if it disappeared would mean a journey to Newcastle.
